The CD is fueled by melodic metal guitar riffs, stopping only to catch its breath on a calming acoustic ballad before powering back up with the epic stand out song, Snow White. The CD was produced and arranged by veteran rock guitarist Gary B. Sullivan. He began playing the guitar in 1970 and developed his own style of melodic classic rock guitar solos, which are a predominant feature throughout the entire album. Ace drummer Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio, Last In Line) added his unique style of thunderous power pounding, as he put fresh energy into each song. Solid vocals by one of metal’s finest, Mark Boals (Yngwie Malmsteen, Dokken) and singer/songwriter, Dion Colucci added depth. Incredible bass performances by Phil Soussan (Ozzy, Billy Idol, Last In Line), Michael Manring and Dion Colucci filled in the low end to perfection. Tracks were mixed by Phil Soussan and John Cuniberti (producer for Joe Satriani, Sammy Hagar). Inspiration for the CD came from the bold thematic cover art created by artist Bruce Gruenzel. Rock In The Night is a musically inspiring journey of power house instrumentals, alternating with Christian oriented lyrical songs. This album is Power Rock through and through propelled by some of the musicians who originally gave us the classic sounds we know and love!
